Hari Kondabolu and her wife Jocelyn Bonadio-de Freitas lived a tough life through the pandemic. Jocelyn shared her experience.
Kondalbolu decided to be a parent in their 30s, and they worked together during her pregnancy. The couple had been together for around four years. They added a new member to the family within two years of their relationship.

Jocelyn is an educator, facilitator, producer, and creative strategist. The producer received a high school diploma at Torrey Pines High School in 2003. Afterward, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in music at Wesleyan University.

She graduated from Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music, CUNY, and received a master’s degree in classical piano performance in 2015. In 2018, she again graduated master’s degree in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Freitas is even involved in volunteering work. She was the educator at Emerald Isle Immigration Center, where she taught English and Spanish. Besides this, she volunteered in CAMBA and led women’s workshops, including resumes, interviewing, job searches, and cover letters.
Freitas received Intellectual Contribution Award from Harvard Graduate School of Education in May 2018. The educator had gained experience in more than 17 companies. She had worked as an Executive Assistant at Nonesuch Records for nearly two years.
Freitas attended an event as a moderate guest curator in Cambridge, MA, as Learning from Performers for one month. She was the moderator & lead producer at Little Tiny Walls: A Performance & Conversation About DACA for two months.
Freitas worked as Guest Curator in the MIT Arts Scholars Program, co-host, editor, and lead producer in The Palette Podcast, and Artist in Residence in The Loisadia Center, Inc., and The Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York.
She was the program director and board manager at Voices of a People’s History. Recently, the educator worked as Director of Education in The Town Hall in New York, United States.
Jocelyn Worked Through Pregnancy
Jocelyn found she is pregnant in the first days of 2020. The relationship between Kondabolu and the educator was less than two years at that time. The couple wanted to be parents in their 30s and decided to keep the pregnancy.
While working, she kept it private from her co-worker and family member. Her friends sent her rubbing alcohol and boxes of masks instead of a baby blanket. She felt her pregnancy was insignificant.
Jocelyn thought she would be alone in the delivery room and her emerging motherhood. Her body transformed into an astounding phase.
Kondabolu and Jocelyn’s grandparents supported her during her difficult phase. On June 10, 2020, the comedian shared that his partner Jocelyn has a new project coming out at the end of the summer.
Hari Kondabolu’s Son Was Born In 2020
Kondabolu was gifted with a son in August 2020 in San Diego, California. He named his son Arjun and posted the left and right feet of his son on Instagram. The comedian shared numerous pictures of his son growing up phase.
According to Kondabolu, he and his son had the same hobbies. The comedian even dressed his son as Dr. Baby Fauci. In December, they moved back to Brooklyn with their kid. On his 1st birthday, the comedian takes his son to see the Memorial of his Aunt Rahwa in Seattle. His aunt left last year on the day before he was born.
Kondabolu thought his son was funnier than him. He had even let Arjun wear his childhood Mets jacket. The comedian almost spent most of his quality time with his kid.
